Pastel Art
Pastel is my personal favorite form of art. There are more than one kind of pastel, two of the main pastels that i will be talking about are Oil pastels, And chalk pastels. chalk pastels are very fun to work with, despite the mess that they make, the chalk pastel creates a beautiful piece of art. Chalk pastels are very delicate, easily breakable if dropped. The pigment that comes off of the chalk pastels are beautiful as well if you have good quality pastels. Oil pastels are difficult to use, difficult to control. Oil pastels are easy to smudge and smear together, to create look of an amazing art piece. Many people use pastels to create an art masterpiece, even though other people may not like the are your created if you like it is your art masterpiece. Most people don't make a career for themselves in art, only a small portion of this world has become professional artists. Pastel art you need to use slow, gentle and light strokes. Using oil pastel is much harder than using chalk pastel because oil pastels you have to push a little harder and it comes off a lot more rough.
I am going to show and explain to you the difference between oil pastel and chalk pastel art pieces.
as you can see in this picture, the colors are mixed and blended, As well as colors sticking out at the front of the art piece..
In this drawing, The colors look like they were drawn by crayons and it doesn't look quite as clean as the other drawing.
Oil pastels are very different, both equally as beautiful as one another but pastels are different from each other.
